Chris Jones, of the Chiefs, Takes a Harsh Dig at Ex-Teammate Tyreek Hill Following Their Victory Over the Dolphins in Germany
Tyreek Hill had plenty to say in the lead-up to the Miami Dolphins facing the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany.
Patrick Mahomes and his team surged ahead with a 21-0 halftime lead, thanks to what could arguably be considered the highlight of the 2023 season. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa targeted Tyreek Hill with a quick screen pass, but Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie swiftly tackled Hill behind the line of scrimmage, causing a fumble.
The loose ball was recovered by Edwards, who then lateraled it to teammate Bryan Cook. Cook raced all the way to the end zone, covering 59 yards in a thrilling play that ultimately had a significant impact on the game's outcome.
Following the game, Chiefs' defensive standout Chris Jones quipped that the only "peace sign" Tyreek Hill displayed was when he was heading to the team bus.
