WILD STORY: Ahead of Josh McDaniels Firing, he Lashed Out on Antonio Pierce for Bringing up the Patriots Super Bowl Loss (Video)

As we all know, the Raiders fired head coach Josh McDaniels after weeks and weeks of disagreement surrounding himself and his team.

Reports came out on Sunday revealing details on the matter, and none of us could have guessed what happened before his firing.

In a segment from FOX Sports Jay Glazer, he went into detail of a team meeting that took place while McDaniels was still the head coach, which then led to what caused him to be fired:

Yup, pretty crazy.

As heard, McDaniels lashed out on LB coach and former Giants player Antonio Pierce for talking about the Patriots 2007 Super Bowl loss against the Giants, as McDaniels was serving as the teams assistant coach.

McDaniels took offence to Pierce bringing up the loss, and told him:

Pierce just wanted the Raiders to hear about the mindset he and the Giants had in that win, but McDaniels was not a fan of this explanation, and lashed out on him.

This was the last straw for Raiders owner Mark Davis, so he fired McDaniels and named Pierce as the head coach.
