Could Jerry Jeudy become a top 5 wide receiver?
Earlier today on the I Am Athlete show, host and former NFL star Brandon Marshall asked Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy if he feels like he needs to catch up to the other receivers of the league. Jeudy has not yet had his star season, so many fans are wondering when he will prove himself as a star. Jeudy responded:
"It's all about timing, all about being patient."
When looking at Jeudy's stats compared to other receivers in his draft class alone, it is obvious that he is behind. Last season, Justin Jefferson had 1,809 receiving yards with 8 touchdowns, and CeeDee Lamb had 1,359 receiving yards with 9 touchdowns, while Jeudy only had 972 receiving yards with 6 touchdowns.
Though both Jefferson and Lamb were drafted after Jeudy in the 2020 NFL Draft, they are still putting up much better numbers than him, and it seems like Jeudy will need to work extra hard to be on the same level as them.
