As revealed by top NFL insider Adam Schefter, former Bears All-Pro running back Tarik Cohen is eyeing an NFL comeback:

Cohen was drafted by the Bears in 2017, and he became a key member of the team from the jump. In his 2nd year in the NFL, Cohen was named as a First-Team All-Pro, as well as being selected for the Pro Bowl.

In 2020, Cohen signed a 3-year $17.25 million contract extension with the Bears, but just a few weeks later, he got hurt.

In week 3 of the 2020 season, Cohen tore both his MCL and ACL, and also suffered a tibial plateau fracture. Cohen was then placed on IR for the rest of the season, and then had to miss all of the 2021 season to recover from the ACL tear.

Because he was unable to play, and his injuries caused a decline in his abilities, the Bears decided to release Cohen before the 2022 season.

Since his recovery, Cohen has been eyeing an NFL return, but unfortunately on May 17, 2023, he suffered yet another injury, which was seen on his Instagram live, where he tore his Achilles tendon.

Now, after recovering from all of these injuries, Cohen is gearing up for an NFL comeback. He is hoping to participate in NFL workouts and eventually sign with a team before the 2023 season begins.

Good luck, Cohen!
