Former Bears HC Warns Matt Eberflus on Possibly Hiring Kliff Kingsbury

After it was revealed that the Bears will be interviewing former HC and current USC coach Kliff Kingsbury, former Bears HC Dave Wannstedt sent out a warning message to current Bears HC Matt Eberflus:

- Wannstedt said in regards to Eberflus and the Bears possibly hiring Kingsbury

Wannstedt explains how though he likes Kingsbury, he isn't a fan of his play calling-scheme when it comes to meshing well with Justin Fields, as he is known for his heavy-pass game. He feels like Fields needs an OC who focuses on the run-game, something Fields relies heavily on.

Wannstedt also mentions how if the Bears were to draft USC QB Caleb Williams, then adding Kingsbury as the QB coach would make a lot of sense. Kingsbury served as Williams' QB coach this past season, so keeping this duo together could work well.
