Former Bears Head Coach has Signed with the Chargers to Work for Jim Harbaugh

As reported today, former Bears HC Marc Trestman has been hired by the Chargers to serve as their senior offensive assistant:

Since becoming a coach back in 1981, Trestman has bounced around from several different teams serving as many different positions, even landing as the HC in Chicago.

Trestman was the Bears HC from 2013 until being fired following the 2014 season. He finished his two seasons in Chicago with a losing record of 13-19.

Since 2017, Trestman has been out of the NFL and instead working in the CFL and then the XFL. His last season coaching was in the XFL in 2020, and has since been looking for a job.

Now, he is back in the NFL and will be working on Jim Harbaugh's staff on the Chargers.
