Former NFL Player Reveals his thoughts for the Bears heading into week 2
The Bears will be facing off against the Buccaneers to begin week 2 of the NFL season. After a brutal loss against the Packers last week, Bears fans are hoping to see some improvement this week, and former NFL tight end Clay Harbor has shared his thoughts heading into the game:
As seen in the tweet, Harbor wants to see WR DJ Moore with the ball this game, as last week, he got the ball only twice. If Moore gets the ball more this game, then we should be seeing success this game, and many more touchdowns then last week.
Next, Harbor wants to see Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy play calling to QB Justin Fields' strengths, and see more riskier plays. Fields looked a bit "stuck" last week, so hopefully Getsy allows Fields to show off more of his skills in this game, and let him take risks.
And lastly, Harbor wants to see head coach Matt Eberflus leading the defense in the right direction. Bears defensive coordinator Alan Williams will be missing today's game due to personal reasons, meaning Eberflus will be calling the defensive plays. Harbor points out how good of a receiving core the Buccaneers have, meaning the Bears D needs to step it up today, even without their coordinator.
The Bears need to show improvement today, or else they are in some serious trouble for this season ahead.
