According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Claypool is indeed playing, as he has been assigned to the active roster:
Claypool finished week 1 with zero catches, one flop, and a game full of laziness. Fans and the media have been calling out Claypool for his poor performance from last week's loss against the Packers, and we did not know if he would still be a Bear by week 2.
After the brutal game, Bears head coach Matt Eberflus made it clear that Claypool was not a sure thing for week 2, and even contemplated making him a healthy scratch. However, it looks like he is giving Claypool another chance.
This should be Claypool's last chance to prove himself, and if he is once again looking lazy and unmotivated on the field, then the Bears will need to either trade or release him.
