Jefferson's list was:1) Patrick Mahomes2) Aaron Rodgers3) Joe Burrow4) Jalen Hurts5) Josh Allen
When looking at this list, I see no flaws. However, when you are teammates with someone, especially the someone who throws you the ball, it is a bad look to not mention your QB.
Jefferson left out Vikings QB Kirk Cousins, also known as the man who allows Jefferson to put up unreal numbers.
Last season alone, Jefferson had 128 receptions for 1,809 receiving yards, along with 8 touchdowns. He was also a First-team All-Pro, a Pro Bowler, the receptions and receiving yards leader, and the NFL Offensive Player of the Year. He did all of this last season, and Cousins is to thank.
Yes, Jefferson is an absolute beast on the field, and is arguably the best WR in the NFL. But, Cousins had helped with that. You can't be a great receiver without a solid QB, so I would expect Jefferson to shout him out, at least at number 5.
I'm sure Cousins won't be offended by this, but if we don't see Jefferson with the ball that much this upcoming season, then we will know why
