Earlier today, it was revealed that the Bears will be interviewing Titans CB coach and defensive pass game coordinator Chris Harris.

This name may sound familiar, as Harris is a former Bears defensive back.
In 2005, the Bears selected Harris as their 5th round pick. He then spent the next 2 seasons in Chicago until being traded to the Panthers ahead of the 2007 season.
Harris then returned to the Bears ahead of the 2010 season, and had himself a career year where he was named as a second-team all-pro. However, he was released by the team during the 2011 season.
Following his retirement in 2013, Harris joined the Bears staff to serve as the defensive quality control coach, and stayed there until 2015.
Now, once again, the Bears are interested in bringing Harris back, but this time, to serve as the team's defensive coordinator.
This would be a great hire due to Harris 1) being a defensive threat his entire playing career. 2) being apart of the Bears organization in the past, both as a player and a coach. 3) has built up his resume and showcased a skill in understanding defensive schemes.
