The NFL Combine is a week-long event in which NFL Drafts prospects showcase their abilities to scouts, in hopes of improving their draft stock. The 2022 Combine is only two days away and we are excited to see who will make our heads turn. In honor of the event, here is how three of the Bears' stars performed at their respective combines.

Roquan Smith, Lb

Smith didn't participate in every drill at the combine but he did run the 40-yard dash. He ran the second-fastest 40 time in 2018 among inside linebackers at 4.51 seconds. He skipped the bench press because of an old shoulder injury but was reported to do around 18 reps with the bad shoulder. Smith looked very explosive and smooth during the linebacker drills and secured himself as an elite first-round talent.

David Montgomery, Rb

Montgomery didn't have the best combine back in 2019. The Iowa state runningback ran a 4.63 40-yard dash. That's far from elite speed and trailed far behind some of his classmates. He added 15 reps at the bench and a 28.5-inch vertical jump. His workout made him fall to the third round where the Bears were able to select him.

Robert Quinn, Olb

Quinn ran a 4.62 second 40-yard dash at 265 lbs, pretty impressive. He managed a respectable 22 reps for the bench press. When it comes to jumping, the North Carolina edge-rusher had a 37-inch vertical and a 9,67 foot broad.
