To shed more light on the unfolding Diggs situation, Tim Graham from The Athletic made an appearance on "Talking Buffalo" with Patrick Moran. Despite not getting much information, Graham was able to debunk one circulating rumor regarding the tension at Buffalo. Dismissing the speculations, Graham confirmed that there was no friction between Diggs and Buffalo's offensive coordinator, Ken Dorsey (as quoted by Emily Bicks of Heavy.com):
"I've been trying to figure out what the issue is, and I don't know. Everyone has been tight-lipped about it. I've been told that it is not Ken Dorsey if you want to strike that off the list. That's about all I could wriggle out of one of my sources...
"I gather as much information as I can before forming an opinion on something. So the fact that I don't know what the issue is means it could be profoundly serious or something trivial and silly. My only observation so far is that this has been an incredibly bad week for the Buffalo Bills' communications department... It's been a rough week for the Bills culture. This was an unnecessary mess."
After creating a stir, the three-time Pro Bowler returned to the Bills' practice later in the week, indicating that most of the issue might have been resolved.
Speculations around Diggs started brewing when he left the Buffalo locker room early following their AFC Divisional Round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, leading to rumors about his dissatisfaction in Buffalo. However, there's no evidence that the Bills have been actively considering trading him this offseason.
With his impressive record of over 1,000 yards receiving and more than 100 catches for three consecutive seasons, Diggs is indisputably crucial to the Bills' Super Bowl ambitions in the competitive AFC.
