Justin Fields Joins Jaylon Johnson at Inaugural Grizzly Golf Classic, Showing Support

Chicago Bears' quarterback, Justin Fields, continues to demonstrate his leadership skills both on and off the field. Just weeks after his generous $10,000 donation to Special Olympics Illinois through his foundation, Fields made his way to Fresno to attend Jaylon Johnson's inaugural Grizzly Golf Classic.

Fields expressed his admiration for Johnson, saying,

Johnson, grateful for Fields' presence, shared, "Having QB1 join us and show support for Kevvy's Vision is incredibly moving. It's about keeping the memory of my friend Kev'Vion alive and ensuring his positive impact on the community continues to be recognized. We want people to know who he was and the kind of change he wanted to bring."

Kev'Vion Schrubb, Johnson's best friend, tragically lost his life in August 2021 due to gun violence. In honor of his friend, Johnson founded the non-profit organization called Kevvy's Vision Project a few months later. The foundation's mission is to empower and motivate underprivileged communities, providing them with equal opportunities to succeed. The Grizzly Golf Classic serves as another platform for raising funds to support the cause and give back to those in need.

Fields' attendance at the event not only highlights his commitment to supporting his teammates but also showcases his dedication to making a positive impact in the community. His actions off the field continue to solidify his reputation as a true leader and role model.
