"The Chicago Bears lost out on Matthew Stafford as a possible starting QB and signs continue to point to the Bears not having a chance to land Deshaun Watson. Yesterday we came across The Athletic's Adam Jahns' prediction of who he thinks will be the Bears' starting QB for the 2021 season. It was kind of a disappointing prediction as Jahns predicted the Bears missing out on the QB market and Nick Foles starting under center for Week 1. Well it seems he's not the only one that feels that way as former Bear, Kyle Long, predicts the same outcome. «I think they will not be able to get done what they want at the quarterback position in the draft,» said Long. «I think it's going to be Nick Foles with a full offseason behind him, being the starting quarterback."Long added there's not much chance Watson lands in Chicago and part of it is because Watson likely won't want to play here because the Bears didn't bother scouting him and he still feels disrespected by it. «Let's hope that people can learn from their mistakes, I remember when Ryan Pace and his entire offensive staff went to the Clemson Pro Day, they didn't speak to Deshaun Watson, and it's been the bane of their existence ever since,» Long said.«If I'm DeShaun Watson, I want to go somehwhere where I feel loved, respected, welcome in the locker room and I feel comfortable.»What do you think of Long's comments?
