Report: Bears Have Already Made Decision On 2021 Starting Quarterback.
"The Chicago Bears have a huge question mark at the quarterback position and have already lost out on one of their options. Matthew Stafford was reportedly on the top of the Bears' wish list but he's now in Los Angeles.Deshaun Watson seems like he'll stay hostage to the Houston Texans and a trade out of Houston seems more and more unlikely. The twisted reality idea of Aaron Rodgers joining the Bears seems to be out the window as well as Packers management admitted themselves they'd be stupid to part ways with the QB. So where does that leave the Bears?Adam Jahns of the Athletic covered the subject recently tackling the majority of the remaining QBs. Carson Wentz who the Bears have been rumoured to be having active trade talks about doesn't seem to be the answer. While Jahns admits that general manager Ryan Pace liked Wentz going into the 2016 draft, it would be too much of a reclamation job for a general manager and head coach who are currently on the hot seat. He feels the same way about options like Jimmy Garoppolo, Derek Carr and Sam Darnold.
