While interviewing potential offensive coordinator candidates for the Bears, the team made sure to pitch a certain name to these OCs:

As seen, NFL reporter Albert Breer revealed that while the Bears were interviewing candidates, they mentioned USC QB Caleb Williams.
All season long, there has been discussions going around on if the Bears will stick with Justin Fields for next season or if they will trade Fields away and draft Williams with the number 1 pick.
After the Bears fired Luke Getsy after the regular season completed, they began the hunt for their new OC, and according to reports, the Bears pitched Williams' name in the interviews.
Though many of the Bears players and fans want Fields to stay, it looks like the staff may be ready for a change, and with many of these new names on the offensive staff, they are likely to be eyeing a rookie QB to build around.
