Leaf commented on 'Good Morning Football' this Friday, saying, "I believe that Saquon Barkley is going to be at the top of his list when it comes to addressing the running back position. It's something I know Jim Harbaugh wants to focus on—he wants to establish a strong running game and utilize these players downfield effectively through play-action passes."
Before accepting the Chargers' head coaching role, Harbaugh was reported to have spoken highly of quarterback Justin Herbert, going as far as to label Herbert as the best quarterback in the NFL. Given Harbaugh's potential emphasis on running the football, it will be intriguing to see how he integrates the signal-caller into his overall strategy.
