The Chicago Bears definitely made some noise on the free agent side of things this offseason when it comes to the offense, but they were a bit more quiet on the defensive side of things. After all was said and done, the Bears retained their secondary and didn't make any changes, however one report reveals that general manager Ryan Pace was trying to make a big one. Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Tennessee Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler said he was speaking with the Chicago Bears before eventually signing with the Titans. Pace had put an offer on the table for the free agent CB which was for three years averaging out at $10million a season, Butler eventually rejected the offer and signed with the Titans for five years. Chicago in turn kept both Kyler Fuller and Prince Amukamara, but apparently the plan was to have Butler play along side Fuller. Would you have like to see the Bears sign Butler?
