With the draft coming up, the Bears are still deciding whether to stick with Fields for the 2024 season or to draft QB Caleb Williams with their first overall pick.
In a recent video, sportscaster Rich Eisen spoke about this matter:
As heard, Eisen believes that everyone is overreacting about Fields already playing his last snap as a Bear. Though it didn't help his case when the Bears lost to end the season, it also does not mean he is "out" of his job.
Eisen also explains that the only way he sees the Bears giving up their first overall pick is for an out-of-this world offer for the pick. This offer will need to provide something positive for the future, along with a pick that can support Fields, if they stick with him.
