Ryan Poles Has Identified His Assistant GM.

"The Chicago Bears have hired their two new main men. Ryan Poles takes over as general manager and Matt Eberflus takes over as head coach.We've already learned that Eberflus will be bringing in one of his right hand men in Indianapolis Colts' linebackers coach Dave Borgonzi. Now we've got an idea of who might be working with Poles. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that Poles has requested permission to speak with Philadelphia Eagles director of player personnel Ian Cunninghan. Rapoport adds that it would be for an elevated personnel position, most likely assistant GM. This has divided some Bears' fans. Some point to some of the very weird personnel decisions the Eagles have made over the last couple of years while others think it's a positive because he's handled SEC scouting for both the Baltimore Ravens and Eagles during his career.
