Last week ahead of the Steelers/Patriots TNF game, it was revealed that Steelers QB Kenny Pickett was "out" meaning former Bears QB Mitch Trubisky will start.
Though the game was a nail-biter, the Steelers ultimately lost the game 21-18.
With Trubisky leading the Steelers to a loss, the Bears have pretty much secured the number 1 pick in the 2024 draft.
With the Patriots being one of the worst teams this season, they have had chances at securing the number 1 pick.
However, now, after beating the Steelers during last weeks TNF game, the Bears are extremely likely to hold that number 1 pick from the Panthers, as they only have 1 win on the season so far.
Who are the Bears thanking right now? It's not the Patriots, or even the Panthers, but it's former Bears QB Mitch Trubisky!
