Several Rumours Claim that the Bears will Trade for All-Pro DT Chris Jones Before the 2023 Season
Before I begin, this is only a rumour, so I don't want to get anyones hopes up quite yet.
As revealed by several of NFL news pages, Chiefs superstar DT Chris Jones wants out of Kansas City, and that the Bears want to trade for him:
It was then reported earlier today that Jones tweeted that he will sit out until week 8 due to his holdout, per Jones' Twitter response:
Jones is entering his 8th season in the NFL, and is considered to be one of the best defensive tackles in the game. He is a 2-time Super Bowl champ, 4-time Pro Bowler, and a 4-time All-Pro. He also holds the record for the most consecutive games with a sack with 11.
Though these are just rumours, we can't deny that having Jones on the Bears would be a game changer, and would make this new and improved Bears team a contender.
