FOX analysts Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless are convinced that a young quarterback is attempting to engineer a trade out of Chicago.

Chicago Bears' quarterback Justin Fields recently made headlines when he expressed his dissatisfaction with having to play in the Windy City's harsh weather conditions. In addition, the Ohio State alum voiced his hope that the Bears' new indoor stadium will have a dome.

On a new episode of their "Undisputed" show, Bayless and Sharpe discussed why they believe Fields' comments imply that he wants to be traded. "I have a major issue with this for Justin's benefit. The greatest home-field edge in this league, when they have good teams, is the home cold edge, not in Green Bay, but in Chicago. Because Chicago's weather is worse than Green Bay's to me, and I've experienced both, due to the wind...

"It's a part of the Bears' mystique. It's a part of the franchise's fabric. We will defeat you in our weather. You must come to play in our weather. And Justin is saying, 'I can't tolerate this weather because I don't like it, I can't play in the cold.' No, Justin, that's who your franchise has been, and you must embrace it as part of what makes you the Chicago Bears."

Sharpe added, "Justin Fields essentially stated 'trade me'." The Bears traded up to select Fields with the 11th overall pick in 2021. He displayed substantial improvement as a dual-threat quarterback in the 2022 campaign after a difficult rookie year. Fields was one of the few bright spots on a Chicago team that finished with the worst record in the NFL. He threw 17 touchdown passes against 11 interceptions while rushing for 1,143 yards and eight touchdowns.

Chicago has the first overall selection, but if they choose to keep Fields, there's a strong possibility that general manager Ryan Poles will trade it.
