During an interview with Barstool Sports "Bussin' With The Boys," Saints tight end Foster Moreau opened about his cancer diagnosis and his journey to beating it

On the podcast, Moreau explains how he was was just doing a routine physical with the Saints, before signing with them, when the doctor, Dr. John Amoss, felt something weird on his left clavicle. Dr. Amoss then told Moreau that he thinks something is wrong, causing him to do more scans. After the scans were completed, Moreau was sat down to be told about some bad news:

"He (Dr. Amoss) comes and sits down with me, and he says 'okay, so, let's talk about...hodgkin's lymphoma'"

Moreau then explains how after being told that he had hodgkin's lymphoma, he just sat there and tried to figure out what his doctor was saying. He then called his mom on the way home and just broke down. Before the physical, all that was on his mind was free agency, and then, after being told he had cancer. football no longer mattered.

Moreau found out about his cancer in March 2023, and then announced on March 22, 2023, that we will be temporarily leaving the game of football. However, on May 10, Moreau signed with the Saints, on a three-year, $12 million contract.

2 months later, in July, Moreau announced that he is now in full remission, and will be returning to the game.

Amazing to hear that he beat it, and excited to see him back on the field!
