The Chicago Bears have turned to a former CFL legend to fill their quarterbacks coaching position. Kerry Joseph, aged 50, is expected to join the team, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Joseph's recent experience includes a four-season stint with the Seattle Seahawks, where he served as the assistant quarterbacks coach for the past two years. His move to the Bears coincides with the arrival of the new offensive coordinator, Shane Waldron, who previously held the same role in Seattle for three seasons.

Hailing from New Iberia, Louisiana, Kerry Joseph boasts an impressive 12-year career in the CFL from 2003 to 2014. In 2007, he had a standout season, passing for 4,002 yards with a 267-for-459 completion rate, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. This outstanding performance earned him the CFL Most Outstanding Player Award and helped lead the Saskatchewan Roughriders to their first Grey Cup title in 18 years.

During his CFL career, Joseph appeared in a total of 179 games, representing teams such as the Ottawa Renegades, Roughriders, Toronto Argonauts, and Edmonton.
