The Bears have confirmed that running backs Khalil Herbert (ankle), Roschon Johnson (concussion), and Travis Homer (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's matchup against the Vikings.

Following an injury in the previous game against the Commanders, Herbert is anticipated to be sidelined for several weeks. Both Johnson and Homer also sustained injuries in Week 5.

With their absence, the onus now falls on D'Onta Foreman and Darrynton Evans to carry the rushing load this week.

Having sat out for the past four weeks, Foreman has had limited game time this season, with a total of seven carries for 24 yards in his sole appearance against the Packers.

Additionally, the Bears will be missing defensive back Terell Smith (ankle/illness) and wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (hamstring) for the game. Meanwhile, the participation of defensive back Eddie Jackson (foot) and offensive lineman Lucas Patrick (concussion) remains uncertain.
