As revealed by several Twitter accounts, rumours have spread regarding the Cowboys trading for Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts:

Pitts was drafted by the Falcons in 2021, as the 4th overall pick in the NFL draft. In his first season in the NFL, Pitts was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team and was selected as a Pro Bowler.

After a successful rookie year, Pitts' performance started to decline. After his impressive rookie year with 1,026 receiving yards, Pitts started to put up sloppy numbers, and injuries are apart of the reason.

Pitts finished the 2022 season playing in only 10 games, making a total of 28 catches for 356 yards, along with 2 touchdowns. His season came to an end after tearing his MCL in week 11 of the 2022 season.

Now, Pitts is back with the team, and healthy, but has not looked good on the field. In 3 games, Pitts only has 9 catches. He is barely getting the ball, and not being used properly with the team. Pitts has a lot of potential, but it looks like it is getting wasted playing for the Falcons.

Though there are several rumours surrounding a possible trade, it looks like sources are denying it.

As revealed by NFL reporter Jane Slater, a source with the Falcons responded to the rumour of trading Pitts, saying:

"LOL. No way"

So, it looks like this rumour may just be a rumour, but hey, we never know...
