Two Bears legend in the top 10 of NFL greatest Names ever!
The NFL has been a premier sport in the United States for decades and decades now. This means that there have been thousands of different names playing in the league.
In this recent list of greatest NFL names in the history of the NFL, two Bears are inside the top 10.
At number 8, you have running back Bronko Nagurski. I have to admit that this is a really cool name, especially for a running back that was as strong as he was. Indeed, Nagurski was renowned for his insane strength and size. He was also a successful professional wrestler, recognized as a multiple-time World Heavyweight Champion. Let's just say he lived up to the name Bronko very nicely.
And at number 1, this one was easy. It's non other than Dick Butkus. He deserves no introduction, Butkus is a straight-up legend. He was known as a fierce tackler and for the relentless effort with which he played. Butkus is widely regarded as the greatest and most intimidating linebacker in NFL history.
I would also like to add that DB HaHa Clinton-Dix also played for the Bears for one season and he is ranked at number 10 on this list. Not only are the Chicago Bears recognized as one of the most historic franchises, but they also have great names in their history.
