Adam Pacman Jones Recalls Terrifying Injury
Former NFL player and current public figure Adam Jones, aka "Pacman" recalled a scary incident that took place during a game.
Pacman has been one of the hosts of former NFL punter Pat McAfee's show titled "The Pat McAfee Show." On the show, McAfee, Pacman, and former Packers LB AJ Hawk discuss topics around the NFL, sports world, and sometimes relevant pop culture news.
On the episode that aired earlier today, Pacman told a story about a terrifying injury he suffered, which caused him to become paralyzed for several minutes.
Pacman told 2 stories, as the first one included him getting hit by former LB James Harrison, which messed up his body pretty bad. He said that he was paralyzed for about 4 minutes and had tingling feelings in his fingers, which were then fixed after surgery. The 2nd story he told was about how he became paralyzed again, but for a longer time.
Pacman said that after scoring a touchdown while playing against the Falcons, he "barely" touched a player and was instantly paralyzed for several minutes, longer than his injury against Harrison. Pacman said this about when he finally got his feeling back:
Thankfully, Pacman was able to make a full recovery and return to football the next year.
