Since being traded to the Bears last season, Claypool has been a bit of a dissapointment on the field. In 7 games, he only made 14 catches for 140 yards, 0 touchdowns, and fumbled the ball. He has looked sloppy, so fans are concerned for the season ahead.
In recent weeks, reports have come out about Claypool not being well perceived by his team. ESPN's Marc Silverman even stated that people behind the scenes don't see a dedicated player in Claypool:
And more recently, Claypool was spotted modeling in Paris, which further worried fans as it seems like he might be more interested in different opportunities.
Now, with Claypool doing something good for the Bears, like this charity event, he is not happy that the media is not covering it. Claypool stated in his tweet about why there are no articles written about it:
What Claypool is doing is a great thing, as he is representing his team in a great way, and making amazing memories for all of these kids participating.
