Former Patriots LB Chase Winovich has announced that he is retiring from the NFL at the age of 28, via Instagram:

After a standout college career at Michigan, Winovich was drafted by the Patriots in 2019 as the teams 3rd round selection.

After a solid couple of years in New England, Winovich was traded to the Browns after the 2021 season. Unfortunately, injuries caused for him to miss lots of time, which negatively affected his career.

After being released by the Dolphins this past week, Winovich decided to end his NFL career, and move on to a new chapter in his life.

In 56 games played, with 11 of those being a starter, Winovich ends his career with a total of 107 tackles, 12 sacks, 3 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 1 defensive touchdown.
