As revealed by insider Ian Rapoport, Bears starting guard Teven Jenkins is expected to return to practice shortly, and will be taken off the injured reserve list:
Jenkins was drafted by the Bears as the teams 2nd round selection in the 2021 NFL draft. He has been a key member to this teams OL, and having him out for these past few weeks has caused the team to struggle.
During this past preseason, Jenkins suffered an injury which caused the Bears to place him on the IR. Since then, Jenkins has been recovering, and aiming to come back shortly. Thankfully, Jenkins is allowed to return to practice now, giving us hope that he will be starting at left guard soon.
There is no timeline of when he will play in a game just yet, but we are hoping it is sometime soon!
