Saquon Barkley Reveals his Intentions for the 2023 Season in Regards on if he will Play or Not
After being franchise tagged by the New York Giants, star RB Saquon Barkley was displeased with the situation. When the time came for the franchise tag to be cut, and for an actual offer to be made, Barkley and the Giants did not agree on a deal, which means Barkley is still franchise tagged, and will most likely leave after this season.
Several reports revealed rumours that Barkley was going to sit out for the entire 2023 season, as he is unhappy with his deal. However, a recent interview reveals his intentions, and it looks like he will be playing:

Because it is unlikely for him to return, Barkley will most likely be scouting some new teams this season. If the Bears are still in need of an RB, then they should pursue him. The Bears have enough money to give Barkley what he wants, and he would fit right in with the young and exciting energy the Bears have to offer.
